Happy to meet you all! This lifestyle is extremely hard no doubt and I’m so glad I have found people out there who understand.

Most important to me is the privacy in this group! There’s no way I’d have said the things I said, in the Facebook group. That group is VERY public, and it’s not just partners.
I felt very comfortable opening up to this small group of ladies that I definitely knew all were POCFs (and all would be understanding).

So, I built the kind of community I wish I had when I started this journey—one filled with honesty, sisterhood, and the strength that only partners of commercial fishermen understand.
